Massage Therapy    

                                                  
If you have muscular pain around the neck or shoulders, for example, you may ask for an assessment by the massage therapist. The GP will make an appointment for you initially and you will be offered a 6 week course of treatment. If you have attended previously an appointment can be made through the reception staff. The waiting time approximately 4 weeks.

Exercise Classes

Our Exercise Instructor offers one to one advice about starting a basic exercise regime. Patients can also attend a block of 6 exercise classes with people of the same age and abilities. These classes take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm in Motherwell Health Centre.  If patients are interested please ask the reception staff for an application form.  The waiting time is now 6 -8 weeks. This should be considered the first step to attending classes elsewhere and will provide you with the confidence to do so.
