The Practice offers individual consultations with a Chartered Educational Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Referrals are made through the General Practitioner, Health Visitor or Community Paediatrician.  The  psychologist can offer advice on the following:-

Behavioural Management of children from 0 to 17 years of age. This covers temper tantrums, breath holding, etc. Enuresis (wetting) and Encopresis (soiling) where no medical cause has been identified.Sleep difficulties in children including settling, night terrors, sleep walking.

Advice on anxiety, self esteem and other mental health issues.

Psych Cup

General Practitioners within the Bellshill / Motherwell / Viewpark LHCC can refer patients for assessment / consultation or advice.Appointments are offered on  Tuesday and Thursday evenings and last around 40 minutes. If you have any questions about this service please ask the staff.
